I’m getting a puppy in almost a week’s time. I am excited. c:

Day 30: Where do you see your future going with him/her?

I feel like we’ll be together for quite a while. :3 Depending on where I find a job as an interpreter I’d imagine that we’d live in either the UK or the States. And how long we’re together.. Well, I guess we’ll find out. :3

Day 29: When will you see her/him next?

I will hopefully see him July 31st, around 10h30 in the morning. It’s just under 8 weeks. :3 He’ll be coming to the States to stay a month with me!!

Day 26: Sweetest thing he/she has done for you.

Our official first date was amazing.

He lives just outside of London, and he knew how much I loved exploring new places.. So for a day he took me into downtown London to do some sight-seeing.

My favorite part of the date was the museum. He hardly let go of my hand as we wandered from exhibit to exhibit, and he let me watch the robotic dinosaur that one of the displays had for a good 5 or 10 minutes.

The whole time I was smiling. Our conversation never died; it easily flowed from one subject to the next. Butterflies were fluttering in my stomach, and whenever he caught me looking at him I felt my face grow warm and I would look away shyly.

Afterwards we wandered around until we went into a mall. There was a huge arcade in the mall and we spent close to £10 playing different games. We tsked at the zombie game stealing our money and we both laughed when we got a game over on another game.

I saw the Big Ben. I was just across the street from the British Parliament. I was amazed at how far I had come in just a year; before I was a simple college student that felt like she was being pulled down. At that moment I felt free. Liberated. I had seen more of the world than most people my age had… And along the way, I managed to find someone that made me incredibly happy.

It was the best date I’ve ever had. He’s done so many sweet things for me but this was probably my favorite. :3

Day 22: Share something cute. (A story, something either of you have done, a song, memory, wish, dream)

The first time I met him in person was amazing but terrifying at the same time.

We were meeting in a hotel in London. The time that he said he’d be there by had come and gone, and I had recently just got out of a call with Kelci. I was terrified that he changed his mind at the last minute. I remember lying in bed, half asleep and watching the clock roll by when suddenly I heard a knock at the door.

I paused for a second, trying to muster up the courage to say ‘just a minute’ before doing so and flying to my feet. I must have ran to the door because before I knew it, my hand was on the handle. I pushed it down, pulled it towards me, and looked into his face for the first time.

It felt like time had frozen. I looked at his warm, brown eyes, his fluffy jet black hair and it felt as if my heart had finally broken out of my ribcage and flown away.

My feet began to move on their own accord, and the little space that was between us became nonexistent as I threw my arms around him and held him tightly. He later said that I knocked the wind from him completely. xD

His arms wrapped around my waist and we stood like that for at least three minutes. Having him finally in my arms was.. Perfect, for lack of better words. I hadn’t known him for that long but I felt more at peace with him than I ever had with anyone.

I felt complete.

Day 16: Favourite love (LDR or not) movie?

I dunno.. I suppose Spirited Away, even though it’s not a true love story. I just think it’s adorable how Haku and Chihiro both have this deep bounded love, but then he lets her go in the end of the movie. He knows that she can’t stay with him.. It’s so heartbreaking and touching at the same time.

Day 10: Favourite thing about him/her?

There are so many things that I love about Tom, so it’s difficult to pick one.. But if I absolutely had to, it would probably be how he lets me be free. What I mean by that is that he understands that I need to travel and study. He lets me do these things and doesn’t blame me for them. One day we will be together, I know this… But I need to get my life in order before then. <3 Thank you Tom for letting me be a free-spirited person. <3

Day 9: Favourite thing she/he has given you?

Before I went to visit him for two weeks in April, we were talking about Digimon World 1. I loved that game as a kid and told him that I always ended up with the same Digimon because I had no idea what to do. I usually ended up with Sukamon, the Digimon that looks like a pile of shit. xD When I went to visit him, he said he had a present for me. It was the game guide to Digimon World 1; it was his when he was younger. He told me that he scoured his dad’s house and his room to find it for me. I was so happy when I got it… But I left it at his house. :c Now if I stream Digimon World 1, I ask him to look up stuff for me in the Bible… A.k.a. the game guide. xD

The first time I met him person, I gave him two drawings that I had drawn. They were both of a Rotom-h (one of my favorite Pokes and the mascot for my channel) and a Dragonite (his favorite Poke and the mascot for his channel). I was really shy in giving them to him and I thought he wouldn’t like them.

Turns out that he actually liked them quite a bit, and he told me the other day he keeps it with his schoolwork. :3
